Strangulation Expert Court Witness

Domestic violence cases can sometimes be difficult to prove. If you are a victim of domestic abuse, you deserve to have your story heard and believed in court. One way to make your case more credible is to have an expert witness testify on your behalf. At prn SANE, Debora Conley is a registered nurse (RN) and has worked as a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE).

Before training specifically in this field, I noticed that many non-fatal strangulation victims had their abuse missed by medical professionals. Many non-fatal strangulation cases are complicated because they do not leave any significant marks, such as bruises or scratches. That is why I trained specifically to be able to notice the signs of strangulation.

These include less obvious signs like lightheadedness, neck and ear pain, and difficulty breathing or swallowing. Because of my unique training and experience, I can review your medical charts and recognize the signs of non-fatal strangulation that medical professionals often overlook. I can then testify on your behalf in court as an expert witness.

I have over 25 years of experience as a critical care nurse before fine-tuning my training to focus on strangulation and domestic violence. Now, I am a strangulation expert witness for many victims of domestic violence and abuse.

I have worked specifically in this field for over four years, so I am familiar with the court procedures, and I have worked with attorneys and victims and have experience talking to judges and juries. I know how to handle these delicate cases and advocate for victims of domestic abuse and non-fatal strangulation.
